Born in a Japanese musical instrument store in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture. From the age of 19, he studied shakuhachi under Kohachiro Miyata. In 2000, he participated in the "Japan-China Music Exchange Performance" in Zhejiang Province, China. Received the Excellence Award of the 7th Nagatani Kengyo Memorial National Japanese Music Competition, and other awards. Completed the 47th term of the NHK Japanese Music Skilled Training Association. Passed the NHK Japanese music audition. Received the 47th Matsumoto City Arts and Culture Festival Arts and Culture Encouragement Award. "Watanabe Jun Shakuhachi Recital" was held in 2008. In the same year, he participated in the performance of Pro Musica Nipponia Brazil. In 2011, he composed and performed with Mr. Shintari and others at the "Shinran Shojin 750th Goenki Festa" at Higashi Hongan-ji Temple in Asakusa, Tokyo. In 2014, Fuji TV "SMAPxSMAP" appearance (backing performance by Saburo Kitajima) In 2016, he was invited to perform at the 20th anniversary concert of the founding of National Tainan University of the Arts in Taiwan. Since 2017, Kokugakuin University circle "Shakuhachi, Koto and Sangen no Kai" instructor 2018~ Participated in drama CDs such as "Power Outage Girl and Feath Insect Orchestra" and "Touken Ranbu online"
